What we
won't do.
Most contractor websites are a long list of things they say yes to. Every material, every neighborhood, every size of job.
That sounds like a feature. It's a bug. A trade business that does everything is good at nothing.
Here's what we say no to, and why. If your project falls outside these lines, we'll say so plainly and point you toward someone better suited.

We don't quote sight-unseen.
No firm quote or contract until we've walked your property in person. We measure, photograph, look at the sun and the slope, and listen to how you use the space.
Sometimes the site walk changes the plan. Sometimes it means we talk you out of a job. Both are better than a surprise later.

We don't promise prices over the phone.
Our estimator gives you a planning range so you can decide whether to move forward. Your real number comes after we see the site, because soil, access, and drainage change the work.
Honest answers need real measurements. Showing up is how we get them.

We don't build over a bad base.
If the ground underneath isn't right, we fix it first. We won't lay good stone on a weak subgrade just to hit a deadline, because that's how patios settle and fail.
When we find something unexpected underneath, we show you, explain it, and price it in writing before any extra work happens.

We don't change the scope without writing it down.
Any change to the plan, the materials, or the price is documented and agreed with you before we proceed. No surprise line items at the end.

We don't install materials we wouldn't stand behind.
We work with a focused list of materials suited to Arizona sun and heat. If you love something we haven't worked with, we'll be upfront about whether it's a good fit for your project, and we'll say no if it isn't.
See the materials guide for what we recommend and why.

We don't take work outside our trade.
We build hardscape and the features around it. If your project needs a trade we don't do well, we'll tell you and help you find someone who does, and we'll coordinate cleanly when it's part of the same job.
Here’s what we do take.
Hardscape projects in the Phoenix Valley, with a real site walk first. If that's you, we'd love to hear about your property. If it's not, we'll point you to someone who fits better. Either answer is the right answer.
